Questo disco rappresenta per Peter Cionotti una chiara "evoluzione o involuzione" a secondo dei punti di vista. East of Angel Town ha un bel sound, è orecchiabile ed è contornato arrangiamenti pop ben fatti in stile Anastacia, rispetto a "On the Moon" è decisamente più ascoltabile ed adatto alla massa. C'è da dire però che "East of Angel Town" sempre paragonandolo a "On the Moon" ha forse perso quel pianista jazz che riusciva a creare atmosfere fluttuanti che riuscivano a far sognare ad occhi aperti.
