Serj Tankian probabilmente ha realizzato questo album in quanto forse non aveva niente di meglio da fare, non c'è un filo logico, la musica sembra già ascoltata e francamente i brani non è che siano nulla di eccezionale. Elect the Dead potrà piacere o meno al pubblico, di certo difficilmente piacerà agli appassionati di Hard Rock e forse ancora meno a coloro che so abituati a vedere Serj Tankian con i System of a Down.
