Ogni volta esce un prodotto firmato dalla cantante britannica è sempre un evento e non poteva che esserlo anche nel caso di "Songs of Mass Destruction". Bellissimo è il brano di apertura "Dark Road" che fonde perfettamente la sua melodia con la bellissima voce di Annie, stesso discroso vale per "Through The Glass Darkly". Per gli amanti invece del ritmo, tra le "Canzoni di distruzione di massa" ci sono anche brani molto belli come "Love Is Blind" e "Coloured Bedspread".
