The Greatest Hits 25 Artista: Simply Red Distributore/Etichetta: Edel/Nunflower

Venticinque i successi raccolti in un doppio cd sulla vita storica ed artistica della band inglese che ha tracciato un percorso storico netto; oggi anche in Italia è diffusa la generazione che li ha visti crescere ed oggi si cullano all'ombra di un altro successo Go Now che altro non potrebbe essere che un cover di un altro singolo generato dai Moody Blues.

Diverse in giro le versioni di “The Greatest Hits 25”: vi è una versione divisa in due cd + un dvd contenente 25 videoclip e un'altra più estesa a 33 videoclip; ce n'è per tutti i gusti anche per le famiglie che non hanno mai ricercato questo genere di musica, infatti i Simple Red si sono fatti beccare dall'amministrazione Endemol e son finiti dritti a “Carramba! Che fortuna”.

E' già stato tutto pianificato: a Gennaio 2009 partirà il “The Greatset Hits World Tour” con un'anteprima affibbiata all'arena di Londra questo 3 dicembre.
Si prevede che il tour mondiale finisca a dicembre 2009 e da quel momento la band si scioglierà definitivamente, e dei Simple Red non resterà che una moltitudine di fans, vecchi o giovani che siano, tutti figli dispersi per il mondo.....questà è vanità di tutte le vanità
