Ritorna una delle compilation più attese dell'anno, Top of the Spot 2008 raccoglie come al solito le migliori canzoni degli spot televisivi, ovviamente dell'anno appena trascorso. La tracklist è composta da 21 canzoni, tutte molto carine, naturalmente non mancano grandi successi come Almeno tu nell'universo di Mia Martini per lo spot della Fiat Croma oppure Pensiero stupendo di Patty Pravo per lo spot Breil, tuttavia la canzone forse più rappresentativa, causa bombardamento mediatico è SMS interpretata da Nino Frassica e l'ex Squallor Alfredo Cerruti. Top of the Spot 2008 è molto consigliato non solo per ricordare l'anno "pubblicitario" appena trascorso ma anche perchè contiene delle canzoni molto belle.
